Marriott's Timber Lodge - Lake Tahoe, CA

We flew into Sacramento, CA on Aug. 25th and the following morning drove over the Sierra Nevada Mountains into South Lake Tahoe. We stayed at the awesome Timber Lodge in South Lake Tahoe right in the middle of Heavenly Village. The weather was perfect, 80s and sunny every day, no humidity, cool nights. The casino's were just a hundred yards away and the lake was across the street. During our 7 day stay, we visted all the towns around the Lake, Carson City Nevada, Virginia City Nevada, Reno Nevada and Sacramento on the last day. We took pictures every day, saw incredible natural beauty, ate homemade beef jerkey and pulled pork, played slots and some poker, rode the Gondola to 9,321 feet above sea level, went shopping and had an awesome Spa treatment. It could not have been a better vacation. I highly recommend Lake Tahoe to everyone!!
